We human beings are creatures of habit and our negative experiences are more potent and reinforcing than our positive experiences. Thus, our lives can or have become disrupted, and we squander our energy in old patterns of feelings and behaviors. This leaves us depleted, disconnected and devoid of our abilities to be creative, feel connected to others and most importantly connected to ourselves. It does not have to continue! I am practical and results oriented, while remaining grounded in evidenced based practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology and Motivation Interviewing Therapy to name a few. I have been in practice 20+ years working with a wide variety of individuals, couples and families.
